Sacramento needs democratic and pedestrian communication!

A story on NPR about Berlin’s “totem poles of information” (link) reminded me of when Sacramento’s telephone poles were covered with posters – from garage sales, lost dogs and downtown concerts. I propose Sacramento bring back the ability to poster on designated kiosk locations throughout Sacramento. The posting board is an attachment to light poles or parking signs (knowing that the power poles are off-limits).
